Jamtastic Daily Prize Competition - Terms and Conditions

In these terms and conditions (“Terms” ), the expressions “we” “our” or “us” means who is signing up to these Terms in connection with a Jamtastic daily prize competition.

By registering to use our JamDoughnut mobile application ( “App” ), platform, services or website and buying tickets for a Jamtastic prize competition, you agree to these Terms, which you should read carefully together with our Privacy Policy. These policies may be amended from time to time, and we will let you know if this is the case. Please check our website for the latest version of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. What is Jamtastic?

a) Jamtastic is a prize competition operated by JamDoughnut. Eligible participants can sign up to these Terms and enter for a chance to win high-value prizes, through either: (a) our paid route option, or alternatively (b) our free entry route option, after first correctly answering the daily draw's qualifying question and providing us with your correct contact details (as described in more detail below in these Terms).

b) For the avoidance of doubt, Jamtastic operates as a non-regulated prize competition and is not intended to operate as any form of regulated or licensed gaming, lottery or betting for the purposes of the Gambling Act 2005.

2. Eligibility:

a) Participation in each Jamtastic prize competition is only open to residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 or over.

b) All entrants must have an active JamDoughnut account and must first validly submit the correct answer to the relevant daily draw's qualifying question(s) in order to enter and be in with a chance to win the prize.

c) By entering a Jamtastic daily prize competition through either: (i) paying online via our App in accordance with section 4 below; or (ii) sending us your free entry by post in accordance with section 5 below, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria and accept these Terms in full.

3. How do I enter?

a) You may enter each Jamtastic prize competition either online via the JamDoughnut App (the paid entry route), or by post (the free entry route), as described in more detail in sections 4 and 5 respectively. For clarity, all prize winners will be randomly selected by our computer process (whether or not they are announced live by a presenter or automatically), and it won't make any difference to your chances of winning if you opt to participate by paid entry or by free entry – as long as you have first correctly answered our qualifying question(s) and validly submitted your entry before the closing time for the draw.

b) If you no longer want to take part in Jamtastic, you can delete the App at any time.

c) The pricing, availability and entry limits of the Jamtastic daily prize competitions are subject to change from time to time and may vary from one prize competition to the next. For the avoidance of doubt, once you have entered into a prize competition, we will not make any changes to the terms of that particular competition or to these Terms, except where we need to in line with section 10c).

d) All applicable significant conditions, information and entry details (including the price, closing time, minimum and maximum number of permitted entries, etc.) will be displayed in the App, both before and after you purchase your entries for each prize competition.

4. Paid Entries:

a) To enter a daily prize competition, you may purchase one or more entries via the JamDoughnut app by:

i. applying your JamDoughnut cashback points, as available.
ii. paying directly by entering your debit card details.
iii. paying directly by bank transfer.

b) For each transaction you must confirm that you are 18 or over and answer the qualifying question(s) correctly.

c) Each valid and correct entry will be entered into the next available daily live prize competition. You can enter as many entries as you like, up to the total maximum number of entries available for the relevant prize competition.

5. Free Entry

a) To enter for free, you must provide your:

i. Full name;
ii. Date of Birth;
iii. Email address;
iv. Postal Address;
v. Referral Code; and
vi. Correct answer(s) to each qualifying question.

b) You must send the above entry via second-class post addressed to:

Hand delivered entries will not be accepted and bulk entries in one envelope will not be entered into the relevant daily prize competition. These must each be sent via post as individual entries to be eligible. Depending on the ticket price for the relevant daily prize competition you are entering, you will be issued with an additional number of entries corresponding to the price of your second-class postage, to ensure your participation in the relevant daily prize competition is free of charge.

c) All free entries must arrive before the relevant daily prize competition's closing date. Any entries after the closing date will not be counted and where postage is dated prior to the draw ending they will be entered into the next available draw for the same value prize. A member of the team will contact each entrant to confirm the new prize draw and end date. Illegible and incomplete entries will not be counted.

6. Prizes:

a) Each Jamtastic prize competition will have at least one winner and may include additional prizes through our instant win feature. Prizes will be clearly described in the JamDoughnut App for each Jamtastic competition before you enter.

b) JamDoughnut reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if necessary, and will notify you by email as soon as possible in such cases.

7. Instant Wins:

a) Jamtastic prize competitions offer users who answer the question correctly a chance to win instant wins, the main prize draw or both. The specific prize structure for each draw will be clearly outlined within the competitions title and description.

b) Each time you enter a Jamtastic prize competition and answer the question correctly, whether it’s through a paid entry via the JamDoughnut App or by free postal entry you will be automatically assigned a unique ticket number for each valid entry.

c) For each valid entry, if your assigned ticket number matches an Instant Win number (which is randomly pre-selected by our computer process before the draw begins), you will win the specific Instant Win prize associated with that number.

d) Winning an Instant Win prize does not affect your chances of winning the main daily prize draw, you will still be entered into and eligible to win the main prize as normal.

e) Details of available Instant Win prizes (if any) will be shown in the JamDoughnut App prior to entry for the relevant prize competition.

f) All Instant Win prize allocations are final, if your ticket number is a match, we will notify you via the App once your purchase is complete and winners will receive an automated confirmation email within 24 hours. Prizes are manually assigned and winners will be contacted during business hours (Mon–Fri).

8. Redeemable Entries:

Tickets may be assigned to a user’s account by a member of the Jamtastic team during promotional campaigns and marketing. Users who have been assigned a redeemable entry must actively claim them through their account.

a) Redeemable entry claims are subject to the following conditions:

i. Entries must be claimed before the specified claim expiry date and time.
ii. Entries must be claimed before the competitions sells out.
iii. If a user is assigned more redeemable entries than there is available at the time, the user will only be able to claim the number of tickets still available.

b) Redeemable entries are valid only for the specific competitions they are assigned to. They cannot be transferred, exchanged or used for any other competitions, regardless of whether the competition they were originally assigned to has sold out.

c) Redeemable entries have no monetary value and therefore cannot be sold, exchanged or refunded under any circumstances.

d) Redeemable entries may be referred to as free entries within promotional materials and marketing communications. This terminology does not alter the conditions under any circumstances where entries are issued or claimed.

9. Winners and selection process:

a) One winner will be selected at random by a computer process from all eligible entries for each daily live prize competition. Winners will be announced either live by a presenter, or automatically on the Jam Doughnut app once the draw either sells out or reaches its closing time. Each daily live prize competition's page will clearly state whether it is a live draw or an auto-draw, before participants purchase their tickets.

b) Winners will be announced live via the JamDoughnut App the day the entry period ends or sells out, but you do not have to be watching the show to win.

c) All entrants' names will be displayed on screen during the live stream. If you prefer not to have your name shown, please contact us via email at jamtastic@jamdoughnut.com as soon as possible after entering the relevant daily prize competition.

d) The winner will receive an automated confirmation email within 24 hours. Prizes are manually assigned and winners will be contacted during business hours (Mon–Fri) via email and/or telephone using the details provided within 24 hours of the draw. We will make all reasonable efforts to contact each winner, save that we will not be responsible for any failures to contact you where you have provided us with incorrect contact details for this purpose.

e) If the winner does not respond and claim their prize within 7 days of being drawn, JamDoughnut reserves the right to withdraw the relevant prize and select an alternate winner.

10. Do I need to watch the live draw to win?

No, the live draw is optional to watch. As long as you have correctly answered the qualifying question(s) and validly entered either by paid or free entry before the closing time for the relevant daily prize competition, and provided us with your correct contact details, you are automatically entered and in with a chance of winning.

11. Can you win more than once?

Yes, every valid entry counts. The more Jamtastic daily prize competitions you enter, the more chances you may have to win.

12. For some daily prize competitions, participants who are already validly entered will also have the chance of an "Instant Win" – where if your ticket number matches a randomly selected "instant win" number, you will receive an instant prize – and also still remain in the running to win that day's main prize.

12 Cancellations and Refunds:

a) Subject to your cancellation rights described in section 3 above, all Jamtastic prize competition entries that have been purchased via our JamDoughnut App (paid entry) are non-refundable. All Jamtastic prize competition entries that have been purchased by post (free entry) are also non-refundable.

b) All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash (or any monetary prize) under any circumstances.

c) If JamDoughnut has to cancel a particular prize competition after entries have already been purchased, then:

i. where you have entered via the App (paid entry), the amount paid will be refunded to you via the payment method(s) you used to purchase those entries; and
ii. where you have entered by post (free entry), you will be contacted by us and given the option to be entered into the next available competition of your choice.

d) Subject to section 3c), JamDoughnut reserves the right to change the time and/or date of the prize competition only if necessary. Where the time and/or date of a prize competition is moved pursuant to this section 10d), you agree that no refunds will be given for any entries you have purchased (whether via the App or by post) will be given, but instead you will be notified of the new time and/or date of the rescheduled prize competition that you will automatically be entered into.

13. General:

a) Entries that are incomplete, incorrect, late, lost or sent in bulk, as described in these Terms in each case, will not be counted.

b) Except where directly resulting from an act or omission by JamDoughnut, JamDoughnut accepts no responsibility for any technical issues, delivery delays, or lost entries.

c) Winners may be requested to take part in reasonable publicity relating to the prize competition (with their prior consent).

d) All personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, which you can find on our website here: https://jamdoughnut.com/privacy-policy.

e) These Terms are governed by English law and wherever you live you can bring claims against us in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country you live in. We can claim against you in the courts of the country you live in.
